10 FANTASY HOCKEY SLEEPER PICKS FOR 2020-21

1- KASPERI KAPANEN, RW, PITTSBURGH
Playing in the Penguins' top-6 means playing with Crosby or Malkin as his center. Should get a lot more than the 36 points he registered with Toronto last season.

2- ANTHONY BEAUVILLIER, LW, NEW YORK ISLANDERS
More playing time in 2019-20 translated into more points. If he plays on the power play his output will increase more.

3- KAILER YAMAMOTO, RW, EDMONTON
Emerged as a top-6 forward with the Oilers in 2019-20 when he scored 26 points in 27 games. Will benefit with playing with McDavid and/or Draisaitl for a full season.

4- OLIVER BJORKSTRAND, RW, COLUMBUS
His production should increase on Blue Jackets' first line and if he gets power play time.

5- ANDREW MANGIAPANE, LW, CALGARY
More scoring should come as Mangiapane assumes a top-6 offensive role in Calgary.

6- DENIS GURIANOV, RW, DALLAS
Minutes should increase for Gurianov who led Stars in goals (20) in 2019-20.

7- NICK ROBERTSON, LW, TORONTO
Played four playoff games with Leafs after scoring 55 goals and 31 assists in 46 games in the OHL. Should bring his scoring touch to the NHL if he secures a top-6 spot.

8- MARTIN NECAS, RW, CAROLINA
Should blossom in a second-line role.

9- OWEN TIPPETT, RW, FLORIDA
The 21-year-old has played only 7 NHL games but should get more playing time and power play time.

10- SAM STEEL, C, ANAHEIM
Ryan Getzlaf still occupies the #1 center spot in Anaheim but Steel is the heir apparent.
